We didn’t set out to make towels. We set out to make home feel like home.

It started with small moments: a damp bathmat that never quite dried, a towel that shed on black T-shirts, the scramble for something clean when guests stayed over. We kept noticing how the first and last minutes of a day, stepping out of the shower, wiping tiny footprints after bedtime, were shaped by simple things that rarely got any thought.

So we paid attention. We counted how often we washed our towels, argued about loops vs. low-pile, tested what survived the high heat our laundry habits demanded. We borrowed from the places that do this well, grandparents’ linen cupboards, quiet guesthouses, the swim bag that never smells musty. Bit by bit, we learned what makes a piece reliable: the way a hem is finished, how quickly fabric dries in winter, why one weave feels friendly and another feels fussy.

PlushLiving grew from those notes. Our bathroom pieces came next because that room holds the most ordinary rituals, the ones that steady a household. Some of our towels now live in salons, some in gym bags, most in busy homes. The goal is the same everywhere: keep the day moving without a fuss.

We still design like we began, by noticing what’s in the way, fixing it quietly, and letting the good, ordinary minutes add up.
